This step-by-step online booking guide helps international visitors reserve Mutianyu Great Wall tickets, cable car combos and shuttle bus tickets via official channels. We cover passport submission, payment, order changes and common booking errors.

  1. Prepare Documents Before Booking
    All overseas travelers need a valid passport for identity verification.
    Each visitor must fill in their real passport number and full name as printed on the passport.
    Children under 18 also require their independent passport information.
    Check the passport expiry date; expired documents cannot be used for ticket checking.
  2. Choose Ticket Types & Combos
    Select your needed items on the official booking page: single entrance ticket, cable car & toboggan packages, shuttle bus tickets or family discount combos.

  3. Fill In Visitor Information
    Select your visiting date (tickets cannot be used on dates other than the booked day).
    Enter the exact spelling of each guest’s name, matching your passport.
    Input passport numbers accurately; wrong numbers will cause failure to scan codes at the gate.
    Confirm the number of adults, kids and seniors to match discount policies.
  4. Complete Online Payment
    Multiple payment methods are supported for foreign guests: international credit card, Alipay and WeChat Pay.
    Credit card payments may trigger identity verification messages from your bank.
    Finish payment within 15 minutes, or the unfinished order will be cancelled automatically.
    Save your payment receipt for order inquiry and refund application.
  5. Receive Electronic QR Ticket
    After successful payment, a QR code e-ticket will be sent to your reserved email or booking account.
    Screenshot or save the QR code on your mobile phone. No need to exchange paper tickets at the scenic spot.
    The QR code is only valid on your selected visiting date.
  6. Order Modification & Refund Rules
    Reschedule: You can change your visiting date for free 24 hours before the original check-in day. Date changes are unavailable within 24 hours of arrival.
    Refund: Full refunds are supported for orders cancelled one day in advance. Partial refunds or no refunds apply to same-day cancellations.
    Lost QR code: Log in to your booking account to resend the electronic ticket email.
  7. Common Online Booking Problems & Fixes
    Payment failed: Check your card limit, internet connection, or try switching to Alipay/WeChat Pay.
    QR code cannot scan: Double-check your visiting date and carry your passport to the service counter for manual entry.
    Wrong name or passport number: Contact official customer service to modify information before your trip.
